The Feast presents a workshop production of The Time of Your Life, William Saroyan's 1939 slice-of-life drama, reimagined as an immersive event that places the audience at the center of the action. Set in a honky-tonk bar during the Great Depression, the play follows a cast of characters—including a wealthy man trying to do good, a sex worker evading a vice cop, and an old cowboy spinning tall tales—all searching for a life worth living. A cast of 10 performers plays more than 30 characters, bringing Saroyan's raucous and personal story to life in The Feast's signature deconstructed style. This production marks the company's second workshop of the play, building on their 2019 iteration as part of a repertoire-based model aimed at future full productions and national touring.
