Come From Away at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts (WICA)

Come From Away tells the true story of what happened when 38 planes were unexpectedly grounded in Newfoundland on September 11, 2001, and nearly 7,000 passengers were welcomed by a town of barely 10,000 residents. The Tony, Olivier, and Drama Desk Award-winning musical features book, music, and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein. The WICA production is directed by Lani Brockman with musical direction by Sue Riney, and features a cast of 12 local and regional actors including Cris Matochi, Danny Miller, Evan Sykes, Karl Borja, Nathan McCartney, Adrienne MacIain, Dianna Gruenwald, Ashley Klimper, Lara Allan, Ruth Yeo Peterman, Rob Scott, and Marta Mulholland.
