A Murder is Announced
Adapted by Leslie Darbon
Directed by Jeanette Sanchez
An anonymous advertisement in the local newspaper announces the exact time and place of a murder soon to happen. The inhabitants of the small village think it must be a joke, until they find out it most certainly is not. In a town this small, everyone is a suspect, and the intrepid Miss Marple is determined to help the police uncover the truth before the killer strikes again, (and whether the police want her help or not is of no concern to her!). Everything you love about Agatha Christie is here: wit, red herrings, twists, and unforgettable characters all combine to create the perfect evening.
Rated PG13 for murder and mayhem

About the Theatre
Big stories. Local artists. Live theatre. And a little bit of magic.
Since 1977, Centerstage Theatre has been bringing stories to life in Federal Way and throughout the South Sound. We make theatre that makes you laugh, gasp, think, feel, and occasionally wonder how on earth they pulled that off. From beloved classics, musicals, and mysteries to comedies, new works and our delightfully chaotic holiday pantos, there’s always something happening on our stage.
We believe theatre is at its best when it brings people together. A great show can challenge you, surprise you, make you feel a little less alone, or give you something to laugh about on the drive home. So come for the story, stay for the community, and make a night of it.
