Youth in Flames is a solo performance written and performed by Mimi Martin, directed by Jessica Whiley, that plunges audiences into the raw intensity of Hong Kong's 2019 pro-democracy protests through the story of a young British expat's desperate search for home amidst a city fighting for its future. The production is a winner of a Scotsman Fringe First and The Spirit of the Fringe Award, and returns to Edinburgh following a sold-out Off-Broadway season. Sound design is by Guy Martin and lighting design by Ciara Moss, with dramaturgy by Paula Kramer. The show is produced by Richard Jordan and presented by Dare Theatre and Richard Jordan Productions in association with the Pleasance.
