Salonen Fellows Mert Yalniz and Aleksandra Melaniuk join Esa-Pekka Salonen to lead the LA Phil New Music Group and violinist Geneva Lewis in a program featuring works by Gabriella Smith, Salonen, Magnus Lindberg, Anna Thorvaldsdottir, and John Adams. Yalniz and Melaniuk are participants in Colburn's Negaunee Conducting Program and have gained podium experience working with Salonen at the San Francisco Symphony.
