Rubicon Theatre Company Announces New Partnership with Crystal Cruises, Setting Sail 10/21

By:

Rubicon Theatre Company Producing Artistic Director today announced the company's new partnership with Crystal Cruises, and the organization's first cruise event, an autumnal adventure aboard the Six-Star Crystal Symphony from the picturesque port of Montreal to the neon lights of Broadway, slated for October 21 to October 31, 2012.

Participants will join Golden Globe© award-winner Amanda McBroom (writer of "The Rose"), musical theatre star George Ball (star of Jacques Brel on Broadway), and Rubicon Artistic Directors Karyl Lynn Burns and James O'Neil on an all inclusive cruise which offers private cocktail parties; beverages including fine wines, beer and spirits; entertainment & enrichment workshop classes; dining and more. A portion of each cruise fare booked through Frosch Classic Cruise & Travel will be donated to Rubicon Theatre Company for the benefit of the company's educational programming.

Says Burns, "We are excited by the initial response from our patrons – many of whom had a Crystal Cruise – and especially a fall color cruise – on their 'bucket list'. Those who have already been on cruises were thrilled by the special pricing for Rubicon patrons, which means a savings for them with the knowledge that they are helping support our summer camps for young people."

The cruise will feature all the colors of Autumn from MONTREAL to NEW YORK CITY --stopping at ports in QUEBEC CITY, SAGUENAY RIVER, ST. LAWRENCE RIVER, GULF OF ST. LAWRENCE, HALIFAX, BAR HARBOR and BOSTON while experiencing fine accommodations with cutting-edge amenities, luxury dining prepared by award-winning chefs, elegant spas, exceptional personalized service and fine entertainment, including a special cabaret event with Amanda McBroom and George Ball."

Rubicon Theatre Company patrons receive special prices starting from $3,190 per person, double occupancy (single fares are available upon request), and those who book by the end of April receive $250.00 off per person.
