Bernadette Peters Plays The Granada Theatre, 5/4
Bernadette Peters has dazzled audiences and critics with her performances on television, in concert, and on recordings, but she is perhaps best known as one of Broadways' brightest stars. Nominated for seven Tony Awards, she has won two and received an honorary Tony just last year. Her work with Stephen Sondheim - such as Sunday in the Park With George, Into the Woods, and a recent revival of Follies - is legendary.
The Granada Theatre Concert Series in association with UCSB Arts & Lectures presents Bernadette Peters performing songs from acclaimed Broadway shows, joined by a full orchestra under the direction of Marvin Laird, on Saturday, May 4 at 8 p.m. at the Granada Theatre.
Tickets to Bernadette Peters range from $50 to $98 and are available now at the Granada Theatre Box Office, 1214 State Street, Santa Barbara; by phone at (805) 899-2222; and online at www.granadasb.org. A limited number of $19 UCSB student tickets are available via the Arts & Lectures Ticket Office; visitwww.artsandlectures.sa.ucsb.edu for information about student tickets.
