In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920's draw to a close, a garish MC welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. With the Emcee's bawdy songs as wry commentary, Cabaret explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin's natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich.
In its 6th edition the award, which brings together representatives of the digital press and celebrates musical theater in São Paulo City, paid tribute to Claudia Raia for her 40 years of career. Something Rotten! was the most awarded of the night with five.
Disney In Concert - The Songs From Your Favorite Movies Live comes back to Brazil in march for presentations at Teatro Bradesco, in Sao Paulo. Show features songs from classic and current Disney’s movies performed by an orchestra and with incredible projections on a big screen. The premiere takes place on March 10 and tickets are already on sale on the website and at the physical box office
Cariri City, Ceara, is the starting point of the show O Magico di O, a place without rain and hope, from where a group of northeasterns go to Sao Paulo City in search of a better life. Using a Cordel Literature version of the classic The Wizard of Oz, the musical idealized by Vitor Rocha and Luiza Porto deals with home, go away and change of view bringing original songs. The opening is scheduled for August 10 at Teatro Joao Caetano.
