Berkeley Repertory Theatre proudly announces the world premiere of To the Lighthouse, a luminous adaptation of Virginia Woolf's landmark novel which is brought to the stage in a captivating collaboration from Obie Award-winning director Les Waters, acclaimed composer Paul Dresher with the live 7th Avenue String Quartet, and accomplished playwright Adele Edling Shank.

To the Lighthouse begins previews in Berkeley Rep's Roda Theatre on February 23, opens February 28, and closes March 25.

"Waters and his talented cast bring Woolf's incandescent characters to life as Dresher's brilliant music illuminates the Ramsay house," states press notes, "Here a couple live, love, and endure; children play, fight, and grow; and a painter struggles to capture the transient beauty of life. This exceptional team transforms an extraordinary novel into unforgettable theatre."
