Taylor Hicks Launches National Tour at the Highline, 7/25

American Idol and Grease star Taylor Hicks will kick off a national tour in New York city at the Highline Ballroom on July 25, 2010.  The performance will begin at 8pm. 

Additional tourstops have also been announced on his MySpace. Stops will include Ogunquit, Maine; Alexandria, Virginia; Allentown, Pennsylvania; Teaneck, New Jersey; Annapolis, Maryland; Cleveland, Ohio; Bay City, Michigan; Chicago, Illinois; Springfield, Illinois; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Madison, Wisconsin; Lincoln, Nebraska; Grand Junction, Colorado; Laughlin, Nevada; San Francisco, California; and Coarsegold, California.  The tour will close with a stop at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center in Orlando, Florida from October 9 to October 10.

Taylor Hicks won the fifth season of 'American Idol.'  He has released two albums, 'Taylor Hicks' and 'The Distance.'  Hicks appeared as Teen Angel in GREASE on Broadway and on the show's national tour.
