6th Street Playhouse will present the stage adaptation of "A Christmas Story" at the GK Hardt Theatre  November 18 through December 23.

Phillip Grecian's play, based on the film by Jean Shepherd, Leigh Brown, and Bob Clark, will be directed by Brownen Shears.

Grab your Ovaltine and Little Orphan Annie Secret Society Decoder Pin and turn on the "Old Man's" leg lamp, because the holiday season is here and it just isn't complete until everyone tells Ralphie "You'll shoot your eye out!"

It's the stage adaptation of the classic holiday film, "A Christmas Story," without the commercial interruptions - all Ralphie Parker's holiday memories are recalled, including painful experiments with ice, a mildly inappropriate lamp and an obsession with a Red Ryder BB gun.

The show will be performed at 8 on Fridays, Saturdays, and select Wednesday and Thursday performances as well as Sundays and two Saturdays at 2.

The GK Hardt Theatre is located at 52 West 6th Street in Santa Rosa, CA. Tickets range from $15-$32. For more information call 707-523-4185, or visit www.6thstreetplayhouse.com.
