Naked at Riot Productions

"Naked" is a light, art-museum based fantasy about a painter turned museum curator, Grace (Eboni Muse) who is startled into changing her life when the naked figures in the museum's paintings suddenly come to life and step out of their canvases. Victorine (Claudette Santiago), the model of Manet's Dejeuner sur l'Herbe and Madame Duffee (Britania Cortez), of Mary Cassat's Woman on a Striped Sofa, push back at the ways they've been reduced to either salacious skin or boring books and urge Grace to see their true stories--and her own.

Riot brings this new musical to life at the Lightbox January 7-9, 2027, in a world premiere starring Eboni Muse as Grace, Claudette Santiago as Victorine, Britania Cortez as Madame Duffee, Megan Greer as "The Docent", Joseph Vitti as Manet, and BJ Robinson as Ron, the museum curator and Grace's husband.

Music direction by Sarah LeClair, Direction by Kirsten Giard, and lights by Mashun Tucker.
