The Old Globe Hosts 'Celebrating Couture 2011' 7/14

The Globe Guilders Fashion Show is one of the premier annual fashion events in San Diego, which benefits The Old Globe (www.theoldglobe.org), the sixth largest regional theatre in the country, and this year will feature Naeem Khan, one of the most sought-after fashion designers in the world.

Naeem Khan's designs frequently adorn First Lady Michelle Obama - including the evening of
the Administration's inaugural state dinner - and he has a significant presence on most major
red carpet events. Annette Bening wore one of his creations to the Oscars, and his list of
celebrity clients continues to grow.

In his fourth consecutive appearance as the featured designer at the Celebrating Couture
Fashion Show, Mr. Khan contributes both to a 21-year Globe Guilders fashion tradition and to
more than half a century of their community service as the volunteer auxiliary of The Old Globe.
The proceeds from this event support The Old Globe and its artistic and education programs,
which reach over 250,000 people annually, including:
