Legendary Film & TV Star Brings Mexico's Biggest Christmas Musical To Southern California

Mexico City's beloved Christmas Classic LA VILLA DE Santa Claus (Santa Claus's Village), is headed to Southern California this holiday season, for a limited engagement run at the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside for one weekend only, November 29 thru December 2. Part Christmas musical and part interactive North Pole experience, LA VILLA DE Santa Claus features a book by Xavier López Miranda & Magalli Urquieta, music and lyrics by Xavier López Miranda and Marcial Alejandro & direction by Edgardo Lar. Who is Santa Claus? Where did he come from? Why does he give away toys? How come he can travel so fast? How does he know what toys to bring? All those questions will be answered, LA VILLA DE Santa Claus tells the origin story of Santa Claus - a fairy tale about a simple carpenter that grew up to be one of the world's most beloved figures. Heartwarming and interactive, the production features 10 original songs, a dynamic cast of 26, impressive staging and special effects, a heartwarming interactive play, and the star of the show, the most famous man in a red suit- all of which have made this vibrant family musical a success for over a decade.

And the fun doesn't stop at the theatre! After the show, kids and their parents will wander through Santa's magical North Pole Village and play with his army of elves, from cottage to cottage as they prepare for the most important delivery of the year! Head over to the post office to write Santa a letter and then jazz it up with paint, sparkles and glitter! Decorate your own delicious holiday cookies! Visit the Christmas ornament construction site to personalize a gem for your tree at home! There are a number of activities, puzzles, arts & crafts, physical games, and the chance to meet the man himself, give him your letter and maybe take a selfie!

Produced by legendary film and television star Xavier Lopez "Chabelo", LA VILLA DE Santa Claus first premiered 10 years ago and is now considered a Christmas classic in Mexico City. "Christmas is a magical time for kids and this show immerses them that magic. The cast of LA VILLA DE Santa Claus features Christian Veac, Eduardo Bravo, Denisse Aragón, Enrique del Olmo Dávila, Fares Kassis Kuri, Alex Luebbert, Paulina Pinete Quintero, Carlos Pedroza, Sebastián Colín, Paloma Colín and the beloved "Chabelo" who lends his voice to the narrator.
