Teatro Audaz Presents the 3rd Annual Nuestras Historias Playwright Workshop Series

San Antonio, TX — Teatro Audaz proudly announces the return of its 3rd Annual Nuestras Historias Playwright Workshop, a new play development series celebrating original works rooted in cultura, community, and lived experience. Through staged table readings and post-show talkbacks, Nuestras Historias invites audiences into the creative process while uplifting powerful voices and stories that reflect our communities today.

This year’s workshop series features four original works by emerging and established playwrights:

• Puro Pastorela by Becka Morton — February 14, 2026

• The Dangerous History of La Lotería by C.M. Bratton — February 21, 2026

• The Three Curses of Apollo Alvarado by Adrian Gonzales — February 28, 2026

• Storytime with Abuelita by Patricia Zamora — March 7, 2026

All readings will take place at Teatro Audaz, San Antonio, TX.

Each performance will be followed by a talkback with the playwrights and artists, offering audiences an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue and gain insight into the development of new work.
