Megan Mullally, Christine Ebersole & Ana Gasteyer Set for Broadway Series at Woodlawn Theatre in 2015
Some of Broadway's most acclaimed musical theater actresses will be in San Antonio over the coming months in the Broadway @ Woodlawn Theatre Celebrity Series with host Seth Rudetsky.
Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole, and television stars Ana Gasteyer from Saturday Night Live and Emmy-winning Megan Mullaly from Will & Grace will be featured in this Broadway Series. Starring as host, interviewer and pianist will be Seth Rudetsky, a Broadway accompanist and expert, who is also a Sirius XM radio host and comedian.
The series lineup is as follows:
- November 8, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.: Ana Gasteyer, star of TV's "Saturday Night Live" for six seasons, and ABC's "Suburgatory," with Broadway credits that include "Wicked" and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"
- January 24, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.: Christine Ebersole, two-time Tony winner as Edith Beale and Little Edie Beale in "Grey Gardens" and as Dorothy Black in the revival of "42nd Street"
- March 21, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.: Megan Mullally, two-time Emmy-winning star of TV's "Will and Grace" and Broadway's "Young Frankenstein" and "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying".
- May 15, 2015 at 7:30 p.m.: Special guest to be announced soon.
In each show, Seth Rudetsky mixes songs with a live interview of the Broadway star's life and career. Insider stories are also revealed from the friendship of Seth and each Broadway star.
Season subscriptions, which include a ticket to all four shows, are now available for purchase online at woodlawntheatre.org/2015-season-subscriptions, or by calling the box office at 210-267-8388. Prices are $375 for VIP subscriptions, and $280 for regular subscriptions. Individual ticket purchases are also available priced at $100 for VIP and $75 regular admission.
The Woodlawn Theatre is San Antonio's historic local theatre, located in the heart of the Deco District at 1920 Fredericksburg Road, just south of Hildebrand. Free parking with security patrol is available.
