Since 2004, a family of puppeteers called The Pulley Puppets has performed their fun, amusing and witty shows all around the valley, including the Orem Public Library, Thanksgiving Point, elementary schools and more.

And now they will add SCERA to that impressive list, as they present a puppet show entitled "Jungle Fever" at the SCERA Center for the Arts on Saturday, January 19 @ 11:00am. Tickets for the 45-minute show are $3 for ages 3 and older and may be purchased in advance from 10am-6pm weekdays and Saturdays from 12Noon-6pm at the main office at SCERA Center, by calling (801) 225-ARTS, online at www.scera.org or at the door 30 minutes prior to the show.

Pulley Puppets is a family troupe - from the young to the young at heart. A family of educators, The Pulleys enjoy creating new stories or taking a familiar story and putting a special twist on it.

Their show "Jungle Fever" takes families of all ages on a jungle safari as they explore the different stories of our animal friends including: The Strange Moss Colored Rock about a tricky spider who uses a magical rock to plays tricks on his friends; The Little Grey Parrot, the jungle tale of the Little Red Hen; and The Lion & The Mouse, when two animals become unlikely friends.

The SCERA Puppet Shop, under the direction of Nat Reed, hosts a different puppet show each month. Upcoming shows will be held February 16, March 16 and April 20.
