Pioneer Theatre to Present CLYBOURNE PARK, 2/15-3/2

Pioneer Theatre Company presents the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Drama winner, Clybourne Park by Bruce Norris, February 15 through March 2, 2013.

The 2012 Tony Award winner for Best Play, Clybourne Park is a fascinating, insightful, and often brutally funny look at the way we talk about-or avoid talking about-race in America. When a white couple wants to buy a home in the gentrifying, all-black neighborhood of Clybourne Park, Chicago, they unknowingly re-enact the same tense drama, fraught with miscommunications and barely suppressed hostility that occurred fifty years earlier in the same house.

The production plays Mondays - Thursdays, 7:30 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays, 8:00 p.m. and Saturday matinees, 2:00 p.m. at the Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre, located at 300 South 1400 East, Salt Lake City.

Tickets cost $25 - $44 in advance and $5 more when purchased on the day of the show. Kids in grades K - 12 are half price on Mondays and Tuesdays. Box Office: 801-581-6961. Open 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Mon - Fri or online at
