Based on Hans Christian Andersen's The Ugly Duckling, Honk! tells the story of an odd looking baby duck, Ugly, and his quest to find his mother. Ugly looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother's protective flapping. The little duckling finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. A heartwarming celebration of being different that is sure to delight audiences of all ages with its sparkling wit, unique charm and memorable score

Davis Musical Theatre Company (DMTC) is a nonprofit, entirely volunteer-run community theatre that has been bringing the magic of live theatre to Davis for over 40 years. Our mission is to make theatre accessible to everyone through high-quality productions, educational programs, and affordable ticket prices. Each season features Broadway musicals, youth theatre, classes, workshops, and special events that inspire creativity and bring our community together.
