Comedian, recording artist, improvisationalist, dancer, and TV personality Wayne Brady will close out the 2010/2011 season at the Gallo Center for the Arts on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 8:00 p.m.

Brady, described as one of the most versatile performers in show business today, is perhaps most famous for co-starring in the popular improv comedy TV show, Whose Line Is It Anyway, for which he won an Emmy Award in 2003. He also hosted his own syndicated talk-variety show for two years, garnering two more Emmy Awards, and has guest starred on such television hits as The Dave Chappelle Show, 30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother, Dirt and Everybody Hates Chris.

After conquering television and theatre, Brady took on the recording industry and earned a 2008 Grammy nomination for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance for his single “A Change is Gonna Come" off his debut musical album “A Long Time Coming.” He also released a children’s album entitled “Radio Wayne” with Disney Records in May 2011, which reached the number one position on iTunes and Amazon Kid’s charts. He is currently working on his third album.

Brady’s appearance at the Gallo Center follows that of Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, two other Whose Line Is It Anyway stars. Their January 2011 show sold out and prompted many patron requests to bring Brady to the Center.

Tickets range from $39 to $89. A 15% discount is available for groups of 15 or more. For tickets and more information, visit www.galloarts.org or call (209) 338-2100.

Wayne Brady’s performance is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

The Gallo Center for the Arts’ 2011-2012 Premier Partner is Boyett Petroleum.
