Napa Valley Opera House welcomes Chanticleer ”Orchestra of voices” to grace Opera House stage on Saturday, September 19 at 8pm.

Ticket prices range from $20 - $44.Chanticleer—based in San Francisco—is known around the world as “an orchestra of voices” for the seamless blend of its twelve male voices ranging from countertenor to bass and its original interpretations of vocal literature, from Renaissance to jazz, and from gospel to venturesome new music. In this performance, titled In Time Of . . . Chanticleer will reflect on the most profound experiences touching all of us–singing some of the choral repertoire’s most beautiful music by Palestrina, Dufay, Janequin, Legeti, Chen Yi, Sametz, McGlynn, Bates, Gershwin and others.The Napa Valley Opera House is located in the heart of downtown Napa. A national historic landmark originally constructed in 1879, NVOH celebrates its 130th of opening in 2010. NVOH restored its intimate second-floor, 480-seat Margrit Biever Mondavi Theatre in 2002 after 30 years of planning.
