Beatles Tribute RAIN Coming to Gallo Center in January

A newly expanded version of "RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles" is coming to the Gallo Center for the Arts on Wednesday and Thursday, January 28-29. Both performances begin at 7:30 pm.

The show was originally announced for the Thursday performance only, but the Gallo Center booked the Wednesday performance in anticipation of additional demand.

Tickets for "RAIN" range in price from $29 to $99, and may be purchased online at www.galloarts.org, by calling (209) 338-2100, or from the Gallo Center ticket office at 1000 I Street in downtown Modesto. Groups of 15 people or more receive a 15% discount on ticket prices. Group sales information is available by calling (209) 338-5062.

As "the next best thing to seeing The Beatles," according to the Associated Press, this former Broadway hit features the full range of The Beatles' discography, including complex and challenging songs that the iconic band recorded in the studio but never performed for an audience.

In addition to updated sets that include new LED, high-definition screens and multimedia content, new songs have also been included for the current tour. Together longer than The Beatles themselves, the performers in "RAIN" have mastered every song, gesture and nuance of the legendary foursome, delivering a note-for-note performance incorporating early hits to later classics ("I Want To Hold Your Hand," "A Hard Day's Night," "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "Let It Be," "Come Together," "Hey Jude" and more.

"RAIN: A Tribute to the Beatles" is presented at the Gallo Center by Boyett Petroleum.
