One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest at Theatre on Main Street, Inc

Mario is truly honored to return to The Theatre on Main Street and be part of this wonderful production and amazing cast. On stage Mario has brought to life such characters as (Abner Dillon) in 42nd Street, here at The Theater on Main Street. (Pedro Leader of the Muleteers) in Man of La Mancha at the Playhouse at Museum Village, (The Monster) in Mel Brooks’Young Frankenstein the Musical at Elmwood Playhouse. (for which he was nominated for best performer in a musical by Broadway World Rockland / Westchester). Mario would like to thank his wife Ellen for her never ending love and support. Special thanks to Jessica Jaber and Michael E. Boyle for the opportunity to play such a complex character as Chief Bromden. It’s such a pleasure sharing the stage with you both

Michael graduated from S.U.N.Y. Albany with an undergraduate major in History, & minor in Theatre, and holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Fordham University. Michael was an Axial Theatre Company Ensemble Member & a member of the Board of Directors in Pleasantville, New York. Michael trained at HMAP with Howard Meyer and Rachel Jones. He made his Axial Theatre debut as Shamrayev in The Seagull. In other notable performances, he played the role of Gordon in Dead Man’s Cell Phone, Dr. Rank in A Doll’s House, Doc in Crimes of the Heart, & Bill in August Osage County. Michael debuted in Theatre on Main Street's inaugural production of Orpheus Descending as Val Xavier. He has since played Billy in Main Street's premiere musical, Godspell, Jackie Elliot in Billy Elliot, Alan Raleigh in God of Carnage, Old Deuteronomy in Cats, George Tesman in Hedda Gabler, and most recently as Julian Marsh in T.O.M.'s production of 42nd Street . Thank you to the entire cast and crew, and especially Jessica whose phenomenal talents and diligence on and off the stage always make it ALL so awesome!

Ryan has a minor in Theatre from Manhattan College, and an extensive background in acting, dance, climbing and outdoor sports.  He played Gordon in Dead Man's Cell Phone, and Oedipus in Oedipus while studying at Manhattan College his Bachelor's in Psychology. This is his fifth performance at Theater on Main Street, where he previously appeared in Orpheus Descending, Godspell, A Christmas Carol, and as Skimbleshanks in Cats.  

Lisa is thrilled to make her main stage debut with Theatre on Main Street in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. She has previously appeared with TOMS in Rock of 80s, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, A Christmas Carol, and the Winter Cabaret. She has also performed in many productions across the Hudson Valley. Love and thanks to Jessica and the entire cast and crew.

Meg is thrilled to return to Theatre on Main Street for her sophomore performance. She made her debut here at ToMS as Ethel in 42nd Street. She is a graduate of SUNY Albany where she wrote her first play, Like a Moth to a Flame. 

Sydnee Rose (Williams) is thrilled to be back on stage! Sydnee is a 25-year-old performer from Cornwall, New York. Her previous roles include Maggie Jones in 42nd Street, Evil Gabbi and Vera in She Kills Monsters.

When she's not on stage, Sydnee teaches dance, coaches gymnastics, and choreographs for the COHES Drama Club. Her choreography credits include Beauty and the Beast Jr., Wonka Jr., Newsies Jr., most recently Into the Woods Jr., and Once Upon a Mattress Jr. at DDS

Offstage, Sydnee trades her dance shoes for makeup brushes and hot tools as a licensed cosmetologist and makeup artist. Sydnee would like to express her endless love and gratitude to her amazing friends and family for their unwavering support and for coming out to see the show.

Fidel Fonteba is a writer, director, actor and a drunken fool.  He has work in numerous off, off, Broadway productions and a plethora of drunk tanks in and about N.Y. City.  He has been quoted as saying 'I like beer.'

Jessica is a member of Actor's Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA and holds an Associates in Arts degree and a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting from Pace University. She has appeared in film, television, local theatre and off-off Broadway productions spanning decades.  She was a member of the LAByrinth Theatre Intensive Ensemble and founding member of The Root Collective group of writers and actors, where she enjoyed creating, directing, and producing original works in conjunction with members of LAByrinth Theatre. With The Root Collective, she appeared in original works with LAByrinth Theatre members at Cherry Lane Theatre, Bank Street Theatre, Player's Theatre, and The Mandalay Bar at "Sleep No More" in NYC. In 2022, she co-founded Theatre on Main Street, and Theatre Arts Lab, where she teaches, directs, produces, and performs.  Her SAG-AFTRA independent film, "when skies are grey" written by her daughter, Brittany Mae, won several short independent film awards, and starred Ryan Danahy and Rheonna Koss - both joining the cast of this production.  She loves creating art with friends, family and community members, and thanks her family enormously for their support through it all.  She is grateful to be part of this wonderful cast of creative performers, and share the stage with her son, son-in-law & granddaughter. She especially thanks her partner, Michael, for his love, support and reliability as the great leading man in her life both on & off the stage. 

Having been exposed to singing and dancing since birth, Avery’s love for the performing arts was solidified by her debut in Theatre on Main Street’s “Billy Elliot” in 2023. She’s been returning each year, stealing the show in  “Cats” as a surprise kitten, and in “42nd Street” as Ragamuffin. Avery has an instinctive passion for theatre, noted by her impromptu at-home performances with original songs, choreography and costumes. She has been putting that same star power into practicing for these performances. Avery would like to thank her Grandma, Jessica, for always creating a role for her in the company's productions.

Jeremy is returning to Theatre on Main Street for his fourth production. After proving his natural talent in his debut performance on the stage as GEORGE in “Billy Elliot”, he further honed his skills when he stepped into the emotionally complex role of EJLERT LOVBORG for “Hedda Gabbler” with Theatre on Main Street, halfway through the rehearsal process when the company needed a replacement actor. Jeremy wears many hats and has also assisted the company behind the scenes, most notably seen in his hand-painted costumes for their 2024 production of “Cats”. He thanks his wife for supporting him through his journey of performing, his daughter for sharing the stage with him once again, and his son for his patience with his line learning and absences for rehearsals! 

Rheonna is excited to be making her debut with Theatre on Main Street and returning to the stage for the first time in three years. Previous credits include Duckling in Our Country’s Good and Feste in Twelfth Night. Rheonna majored in Theater in college and has always felt passionate about performing. She is very grateful for the opportunity to play Nurse Warren and hopes audiences enjoy the hard work and dedication the cast has put into this production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.

Chantal is primarily a writer, who has contributed to such publications as Vogue, The Atlantic, Food & Wine, Bon Appétit, Saveur, The Guardian, The Washington Post, and Forbes. Her 2015 book How the Gringos Stole Tequila, a social history of the agave industry, was adapted into a documentary film that premiered at SXSW in 2018. When she’s not writing, Chantal is dancing, gardening, and volunteering in her community. She lives in Cornwall-on-Hudson with her husband and two young daughters. Her previous productions with Theatre on Main Street include Cats, Hedda Gabler, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and A Christmas Carol.

Theresa Murphy is thrilled to be appearing in her very first theatrical production as Nurse Flinn in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and is still slightly surprised, she agreed to it. She is grateful to everyone involved for making this experience so welcoming.

Angela Pepe is a SUNY New Paltz graduate with a BSVA. While there, she performed with Miami Theatre Players, most notably as Veronica Sawyer in Heathers (2022). Other credits include Fastrada in Pippin (2022) and Bird Girl in Seussical(2023). Angela is thrilled to return to the Theatre on Main Street stage as Candy Starr after previously appearing as Morgan in Godspell (2023) and Bombalurina in Cats (2024). Angela owns her own Face painting company, The Painted Swan, and will be attending the Disney Internship program later this summer.

Emilia began dancing in 2020 with ballet and quickly fell in love with performing arts, expanding her training into modern dance, musical theatre, pointe, and tap.  Since making her theatrical debut in Billy Elliot in 2023, she has enjoyed performing in productions including Cats as Tantomile, A Christmas Carol, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and 42nd Street. Emilia is grateful for every opportunity to learn, grow, and share her love of dance and theatre on stage.
