The Community Stage at Arc Stages to Present THE SECRET IN THE WINGS

Pleasantville theater company Arc Stages announces Mary Zimmerman's The Secret in the Wings as its next Community Stage show. It is the third wing of a company that also includes a thriving Educational Stage and a professional company called the Next Stage.
Performances will be held at Arc Stages, located at 147 Wheeler Avenue in Pleasantville NY.Friday, April 1 at 8pm

Emma Frank, Jed Krivisky, Andrew Laden, Julia McCarthy, Arnie Toback, Claude Tusk, Domenick Velardi, & Rebecca Werner.Mary Zimmerman's The Secret in the Wings adapts a group of lesser known fairy tales, to create a theatrical work that sets their dark mystery against her unique theatrical vision, poetic language, and acerbic wit. Each tale unfolds, breaking off the story just at its most intense moment before the next tale begins, leaving the audience caught up in a passionate wave of words and fantastic imagery. Zimmerman transforms what is ordinary from the page into something extraordinary on the stage.
