Glory Crampton, Terry Rakov et al. Set for Broadway to the Rescue Benefit, 4/11

Lauren Blackman, Glory Crampton, Lisa Gold, Cris Groenendaal, Jennifer Jiles, Dana Moore, Terry Rakov, and Jonathan Stahl and more are set to perform at Broadway to the Rescue. The benefit will be held at the Westchester Broadway Dinner Theatre on Monday, April 11 at 6pm.

The benefit will support Pets Alive West (formerly the Elmsford Animal Shelter). The event will also feature performances from the casts of Westchester Broadway Dinner Theatre's 42nd STREET and NINE. Juno the Rescued Beagle will also make a special appearance.

The benefit is organized by Better Late Than Never Productions, which was founded by Rakov in order to provide performers with an opportunity to develop their audience while raising money and awareness for animal causes.

Terry Rakov appeared on Broadway with Carol Channing in the revival of Hello Dolly! and with Joel Grey in Jerry Herman's The Grand Tour. She toured nationally as Adelaide in Guys and Dolls with Maureen McGovern, and in Zorba with Anthony Quinn, serving as Mr. Quinn's personal vocal coach as well as appearing with him on stage. Off-Broadway, Ms. Rakov appeared in Romance Is at the Perry St. Theater and in Bittersuite at the Quaigh. She shared the stage with Faith Prince as the Ugly Stepsisters in Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella at the CLO in Pittsburgh and returned as Julie in Showboat, Marge MacDougal in Promises, Promises and The Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz with Cathy Rigby.
