Red Light Winter (a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in 2006) tells the story of Matt, a playwright on his last thread, and Davis, his successful best friend from college. They venture acorss Europe to Amsterdam, to participate in all the vices the city has to offer. In an attempt to console the struggling playwright, Davis introduces Matt to the mysterious Christina, an encounter that would change their lives forever.
"[Red Light Winter] will force the spectator to consider the line that exists between love and infatuation, and to examine the folly of placing faith in the memory of another..." says Artistic Director Jeff Church, "Mr Rapp's play is a contemporary depiction of how the most fleeting experiences can be the most extraordinary and meaningful. It is a play about the general absurdity that comes with being a directionless 20-going-on-30-something."
