A wide ranging, musically-inspired evening of dance
Strike up the Band, as a trio of music-inspired works take the stage! Balanchine’s iconic and jazzy Who Cares? brings the music of George Gershwin to life, while the deeply moving blues music of Etta James spills out in Trey McIntyre’s Blue Until June. Katarzyna Kozielska’s Ode offers a moving and dynamic journey culminating in an arresting pas de deux set to a haunting cover of Nothing Compares 2 U.
Woodman Center is at 250 Lloyd Ave, Providence RI, Providence, RI.
