The 8th Annual Ocean State Improv Festival brings together 37 troupes from 13 states for five days of performances, workshops, and spontaneous comedy. Returning acts include Juliet & Juliet performing improvised Shakespeare, Magical Lying Hour, Hell Yeah! with improvised musicals, and But of Mind with an improvised Twilight Zone format. New to the festival, Trash Can Orchestra from Seattle transforms household objects into percussion instruments. The festival concludes Sunday with a free Duo Bracket Challenge on the outdoor patio, featuring 16 brand-new duos who have never performed together before.
