Into the Woods, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, follows a baker and his wife as they set out to reverse a curse, while Cinderella, Jack, Rapunzel, and Little Red pursue their own dreams and wishes. The characters discover that wishes come true, not free, as their intertwined stories reveal what lies beyond happily ever after. The Contemporary Theater Company presents this production in Wakefield, Rhode Island, running July 3 through July 25, 2026.
