HOLLYWOOD TREATMENT - A Feel Bad Comedy at Santa Monica Playhouse

Alexandra Fatovich is a Los Angeles-based actor with Croatian roots, originally from Fort Lee, New Jersey. She graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University’s prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Alexandra made her big-screen debut in Martin Brest’s Gigli (yes, that one), sharing a scene with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. Her résumé further boasts collaborations with screen legends Anthony Hopkins and Paul Giamatti. Audiences may have seen her in the hit Hulu series Paradise as — spoiler alert! — the reporter who gets hit by a giant tsunami in a pivotal scene. She has held recurring roles on shows including Bosch: Legacy, The Morning Show, and Hal & Harper, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last year. Other notable television credits include S.W.A.T., All American, All Rise, Presumed Innocent, Good Trouble, American Horror Story, and American Crime Story. She will next appear in an upcoming episode of Criminal Minds. Alexandra is especially thankful for her acting community, much of which was built at Stuart Rogers Studios here in LA and her boyfriend Ethan, President of the Readers Guild.

Michael spent seven years as a Sports Producer for The RKO Radio Networks, over two decades practicing law in New York City, and has since concluded that acting is the most fun of the three. He is thrilled to bring Hollywood Treatment from its critically acclaimed NYC run to its West Coast premiere in Santa Monica. Additional credits include Curb Your Enthusiasm, Running Point, and an extensive career in film, commercials, and voice acting.

Julian is an Actor/Singer/Writer/Producer born and raised in Los Angeles with a number of independent film projects to his credit, most recently the acton short film ReAction. As a Writer, he completed a series pilot for television and also co-created the Web Series Motor Mouth. Julian Co-Produced the award winning comedic short film Holiday Hostage and made his West Coast theater debut in the hilarious show My Big Gay Italian Funeral which one the Best Ensemble Award at the 2018 Valley Theatre Awards. In addition to acting, Julian is a singer/songwriter who fronts the Smiths/Morrissey Tribute band Strangeways, as well as creating original music in the band THIRTEEN. Julian originated the role of “Thom” in New York Off Broadway.

Sarah Short is an actor, dancer, and model based in Los Angeles. She grew up in New Orleans, and graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in theatre performance. While there, Sarah made her directing debut of the play Antigone: Presented by the Girls of St. Catherine’s. Select notable stage credits include: The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? (Stevie), The Laramie Project (Reggie Fluty & others), Other Desert Cities (Brooke Wyeth), and At the Wedding (Eva). She has been awarded “Best Actress” at multiple ceremonies for her endeavors in both theatre and film. She continues her studies with Annie Grindlay at Annie Grindlay Studio. Her latest project, VIRAL, is now available to stream on YouTube, and she cannot wait to share what she has been working on next! She is thrilled and very grateful to be a part of this amazing production.

Ryan Yauger is an LA-based actor from Carmel, Indiana and he could not be more excited to be a part of this fantastic production! He graduated from Indiana University last year where he studied Theatre, Criminal Justice, and Psychology. Ryan made the big move to Hollywood last August and absolutely loves his new home and the magic it radiates. His acting credits include short films of all genres, a horror feature film, a web series, and commercial work. A massive thanks to the talented cast and crew, the amazing Lara and Greg, and his wonderful family and friends who have supported him from day one! He hopes you enjoy the show and that you follow your dreams too!

Liz Catchings (Maggie & Gabrielle) is so excited to be making her debut with Slate One Productions! Liz received her BFA in theatre at Texas State University and has since built a career focused on film and television, so she couldn't be happier to be back onstage in her first live performance since moving to LA. Regional theatre credits include A Beautiful Day In November on the Banks of the Greatest of the Great Lakes ("@," regional premiere) and Los Sobrevivientes (Susannah Dickinson). She had the pleasure of watching her first sold screenplay be produced last November and will be producing and starring in her first feature film later this year. When she's not onstage or in front of a camera, you can find her shopping for her Spider-Man bathroom or hanging with her cat, Bixby. Enjoy the show!

Ross Wyngaarden is a Los Angeles based actor and artist. During his time at the University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts, Wyngaarden starred in a number of plays and student films. His film and television credits include The Starving Games (2013), Mixology (2014), and Deadly Sins (2017). His most recent theatrical performance was a production of Tape at Playhouse West (2014) where he studied the Meisner technique. His mixed-media art was included in the exhibition, “In the Presence Of” at The Earl Gallery 2025. In his free time, Ross enjoys rock-climbing, yoga and hanging out with his four pet guinea pigs.

Karlie is a born and raised Texan living in LA! She has been passionate about being on stage since she was very young and graduated with her BFA in acting from Texas Tech University. She would like to thank her mom, dad, and best friends for everything they do!

Manu Campos is a Brazilian-born, multilingual performer whose love of storytelling started early, growing up immersed in her mother’s theater productions and spending eight years training in classical ballet. That passion for performance never left; it simply expanded. Over the last seven years, Manu has built a dynamic career as a film and advertising producer, sharpening her creative voice behind the camera while always staying connected to the stage. With a background in Theatre Arts, Broadcasting, and business, Manu brings both heart and hustle to every project she takes on. Now, she’s stepping boldly back into the spotlight, embracing new creative challenges. Manu is beyond excited to be part of Hollywood Treatment at the Santa Monica Playhouse.

Sara LaCause is a Los Angeles–based actor originally from New York City. She trained in the Meisner technique through a two-year conservatory program at the Ruskin School of Acting, and has further developed her comedic voice through acceptance into the Core Improv track at The Groundlings School. In New York, she studied at HB Studio, building a strong foundation in both classical and contemporary performance. In addition to her acting work, Sara is a classically trained vocalist. She studied Classical Vocal Performance at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and continued her training in Contemporary Vocal Performance at Columbia College Chicago. Her background in vocal performance informs her work as an actor, bringing depth, discipline, and versatility to her performances. Now based in Los Angeles, Sara continues to develop her work across film, television, and theater.

Jacqueline Herrera is a Los Angeles based actress with credits in television, film, and indie projects, including Castle, Prom Night, The Wrong Boyfriend, West of Lincoln and Off leash. Known for her natural presence and grounded performances, she’s drawn to character driven stories with honesty and edge. Still, her favorite role was playing Tinkerbell as a kid, the experience that first sparked her love for performing.

ALEC JAMES GOULD (he/they) is excited to be making his California debut in Hollywood Treatment! He is a New York based actor and an alum from Muhlenberg College, where he majored in theatre and completed a semester abroad at FSU Theatre Academy London. Select performance credits: The Off-Broadway production of Hollywood Treatment (Jarod), Twelfth Night The Musical (Sebastian), Little Women: The Play (Laurie), Spring Awakening (Ernst), Bare: a Pop Opera (Jason). He is excited to continue his training in Vancouver, BC, in January at Langara College’s Film Arts program.

Hayes Golightly is excited to make his debut at The Santa Monica Playhouse. He graduated from LMU in May 2025 with a theatre arts degree and is ready to enter the Los Angeles theatre scene! He has enjoyed every moment with this cast and crew and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Lara & Greg McCarthy are a Swedish/Canadian creative team based in the US. Their edgy comedic stage debut "Hollywood Treatment - A Feel Bad Comedy” premiered to lots of laughter and excellent reviews at the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre during the Next Step Theatre Festival in May, 2025. Their award-winning comedic thriller, “The Investors” (Best Comedy, Best Actress), featuring horror legend Yan Birch (“The People Under The Stairs” by Wes Craven) is now streaming on Cineverse and Filmzie and can also be seen on ShortsTV in Europe. They are beyond grateful for their amazingly talented and hardworking cast and crew and hope you will have as much fun watching the show as they’ve had working on it!

Associate Producer and Script Supervisor—she brings a refined artistic eye to every creative endeavor. Her background spans documentary film production, lighting design, and wardrobe work in theaters across the greater Los Angeles area. A former child actor, Sasa is currently writing a story exploring medical aid in dying.
