Cypress Stage, a brand-new semi-professional theatre in Cypress, Texas, launches its inaugural production with Emily Mann’s Gloria: A Life. The play follows the life and work of Gloria Steinem while bringing to life the women, experiences, and events that helped shape the women’s movement.
Told with humor, warmth, and honesty, Gloria: A Life is an engaging and inspiring story about finding your voice, discovering your strength, and the power of people coming together. Directed by Deborah Hope, the production features an ensemble of six women portraying numerous characters throughout Steinem’s remarkable journey.
The production marks the beginning of Cypress Stage’s commitment to bringing engaging, high-quality theatre to Cypress, Northwest Houston, and surrounding communities, including outstanding plays audiences may rarely, if ever, have the opportunity to experience locally.

• Opening Night Celebration: $50 — Includes performance admission, light hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, and a post-show meet-and-greet with the cast. Standard ticket pricing is also available for those who wish to attend the performance only.
• General Admission: $35
• Seniors (55+): $30
• Students: $15 (valid student ID required)
• Groups of 10 or more: $25 per person
