Brainstory has released their sophomore full-length album Sounds Good via Big Crown Records, produced by Leon Michels aka El Michels Affair. Sounds Good is an album that, simply put, lives up to its name with the band’s unique blend of psychedelic soul permeating each track as well as nods to their background. Listen to the album here!

On Friday, April 19th, Brainstory will release their sophomore full-length album Sounds Good via Big Crown Records. The Los Angeles-area trio will also kick off their headline U.S. tour this Thursday, April 18th with a sold out show in Los Angeles, followed by UK / EU support dates in May with Lady Wray. The Staten Island Urban Center presents Music On The Porch featuring DJs from  Staten Island's thriving performing art scene as part of The Trust for Governors Island THIRD Saturdays, a Gov­er­nors Island Arts ini­tia­tive cel­e­brat­ing the Orga­ni­za­tions in Res­i­dence pro­gram. 

The Staten Island Urban Center hosts a free “Island Hopping Music Series” which spotlights musicians from Staten Island's thriving art scene Sunday, August 6 and 20  from 2 p.m - 3 p.m. as part of their  Staten Island Urban Center Governors Island Arts' Organizations in Residence happening which presents free exhibits and activities in the historic houses in Nolan Park and Colonels Row on Governors Island.

The video had already made the selection for the Barcelona Indie Filmmakers Festival, Madrid Indie Film Festival and New York International Film Awards.
