A research assistant and his companion, seeking variety, encounter unsettling, abnormal events in The Forest Night, a play written by NC State student Alexandra Weld. The arrival of a third party presenting difficult moral questions forces them to confront their values, right and wrong, and the relevance of these concepts amidst a nuclear apocalypse. Weld won the 2024-25 Creative Artist Award in Theatre for her original work. Directed by Danica Jenelle Jackson
Kennedy-McIlwee Studio Theatre is at 2241 Cates Avenue, Raleigh, NC.
