Cain Center for the Arts and Davidson Community Players (DCP) are proud to co-present the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical “Million Dollar Quartet” August 8–23, 2026! This extraordinary night of musical theatre captures an untold moment in American music history, when legendary artists Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis gathered for a jam session in Memphis during the rise of their careers. As this “who’s who” of iconic music unfolds, audiences are treated to such unforgettable hits as “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Fever,” “Walk the Line,”“Great Balls of Fire,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” and “Hound Dog.” This will be a first-of-its-kind collaboration in which both organizations directly participate in a professional, locally produced piece of theatre.
