Burning Coal Theatre Company presents the US premiere of Here in America, a powerful play by David Edgar, directed by Jerome Davis. The narrative explores the lives of four artists grappling with political fear and personal conviction during significant moments in U.S. history, specifically the Red Scare of 1952 and the subsequent years. The cast features Andrew Goins as Art, Chip Carey as Gadge, Emma Roe as Miss Bauer, and Sarah Winter as Day. This production runs from December 4th to December 21st, 2025, at the Murphey School in Raleigh, NC.
