A disadvantaged teenager is accused of murdering his father and faces the death penalty. On the surface, it seems like an open and shut-case. 11 jurors vote to convict. One wants to talk. Heated discussions boil over as these 12 diverse people dig deeper into the evidence, examining the facts from different perspectives, histories, prejudices, and biases as they work through this life-or-death decision. Based on Reginald Rose’s popular Emmy Award Winning Teleplay, it is considered a modern classic that has gained even deeper insight with multicultural, gender-fluid casting.
