Kelly Doyle Discusses BLUE at Burning Coal, 1/22

Burning Coal Theatre Company of Raleigh, NC continues its 2010/2011 "Lobby Lectures" season with Raleigh-based playwright Kelly Doyle discussing her new play Blue, from all aspects of the play's development to the world premiere production, as well as the difficulties and benefits of being a playwright in the Raleigh-Durham area. The event will take place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Burning Coal Theatre at the Murphey School (NOTE VENUE NAME CHANGE), 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC.  All tickets are available at the door and are $5, or free for anyone holding a ticket for any performance of Burning Coal Theatre Company's production of Blue.  Further details can be obtained by calling 919-834-4001 or visiting our website at www.burningcoal.org.
 
ABOUT KELLY DOYLE. Kelly Doyle (Playwright) is a current company member of Burning Coal.  Blue  was originally developed as part of the Burning Coal New Works Reading Series in 2009.  Other plays developed at Burning Coal include Dirt, The Hole, and Teeny Weeny Teena.  Kelly holds an MFA in acting and performance from Cal Arts and is a graduate of the Brown University Playwriting Program.
