Coming to the Durham Performing Arts Center from October 13th-18th is the national touring production of the Tony Award-Winning musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder featuring Adrienne Eller as Phoebe D'Ysquith. A Role originated on Broadway by Tony Nominee Lauren Worsham.

Adrienne is a recent graduate of NYU Tisch Scool of the Arts with a BFA in Drama under the New Studio on Broadway. Her previous credits include: Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid (NSMT/TBTS) and Natalie in Next to Normal (Farmers Alley Theater).

Based on S. E. Hinton’s 1967 novel of the same name as well as Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 film adaptation. The Outsiders is set in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 1960s. The story follows Ponyboy Curtis, his best friend Johnny Cade, and their Greaser family of ‘outsiders’ as they battle with their affluent rivals, the Socs. Together, the Greasers fight for survival and a quest for purpose in a world that doesn't accept them.

Raleigh Convention And Performing Arts Complex Hosts Soup Packing Event To Feed Local Residents

The Raleigh Convention and Performing Arts Complex has hosted a large-scale soup packing event to support the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. Staff, volunteers, and partner organizations contributed to more than 13,000 meals for distribution across the region.
