Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (USA) – Schubert’s “Tragic” Symphony and violinist Francisco Fullana at Newmark Theatre

Join the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (USA), either virtually or in person, for its opening concert of the 2021-2022 season, performing works by Beethoven, Saint-Sans and Schubert. Beethovens Coriolan Overture opens the program, followed by Spanish violinist Francisco Fullana performing Saint-Sanss masterpiece, Violin Concerto No. 3. The concert also features Schuberts posthumously premiered Symphony No. 4 Tragic, a surprising and sublime work written when he was just 19 years old. This concert is available to watch on Saturday, September 25 at 7 PM PDT and Sunday, September 26 at 3 PM PDT.
