A story that refuses to stay buried. Arthur Kipps has carried a dreadful secret for years—determined to confront his darkest memories, he hires a young actor to help bring his nightmare to life and finally put it to rest. But as the rehearsals unfold, something sinister stirs in the shadows. In this haunting stage adaptation of Susan Hill’s ghost story, The Woman in Black pulls audiences into the mystery of Eel Marsh House, where shadows stretch long, voices whisper in the wind, and an inescapable terror lurks just out of sight. Join us if you dare—because once you see her, there’s no turning back.
The atmosphere is scary, the drama is intense, and the unexplained abounds in this well-acted production that relies on atmospherics, lighting, and effects to thrill and chill its audiences. The Woman In Black is an unnerving delight.
The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis has announced its upcoming presentation of the original London production of The Woman in Black, the spine-chilling theatrical sensation direct from London’s West End.
This morning The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis’ Danny Williams, Kate Bergstrom, Delaney Piggins, and Brian Coats welcomed invited members of the press to share The Rep’s plans for what they are calling their ‘Season of Daring Imagination.’ This year’s season will include five mainstage shows with an additional three shows in the Steve Woolf Studio Series. Bergstrom, the Augustin Family Artistic Director said, “This year we’ve planned relevant, excellent, and extraordinary experiences for our audience.”
