We can’t go back in time, but what if we could start over?
Poetic and comic, romantic and deeply philosophical, at its core is Kari, returning to her twenty-year high school reunion carrying the weight of a life she’s settled for. When Peter, the boy who left her after an unexpected pregnancy, reappears with dreams of rewriting their past, Kari is forced to confront not just him, but the stories she’s bought into about love, regret, and who gets to move on. What do we owe our past? Who gets to be forgiven? And what does it mean, finally, to choose yourself?
