Storm Large Makes It Home is a world premiere memoir-on-stage written and performed by Storm Large, directed by Marissa Wolf, with composition and music direction by James Beaton. The show features all new music and explores Large's turbulent family history, including her childhood and the recent loss of her father, with raw emotion and rock n' roll energy. Large is joined onstage by an all-star backing band including James Beaton on piano, Scott Weddle on guitar, Matthew Brown on bass, and Greg Eklund on drums. The limited 14-performance run marks the second original collaboration between Large and Beaton at Portland Center Stage, following the record-breaking run of Crazy Enough in 2009.
