Directed by Bill Fennelly, with choreography by Lili Fuller and music direction by Jesse J. Sanchez, this musical adaptation of the DreamWorks film follows grumpy green ogre Shrek as he strikes a deal with a scheming Lord to reclaim his swamp, embarking on a journey alongside a hilarious Donkey and a fierce princess. With a score by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire, the production celebrates self-acceptance and the hero in all of us. The show is presented outdoors in OSF's historic Allen Elizabethan Theatre.
