New@Night: Echoes of Home at The Old Church, Portland

This New@Night concert features works by György Ligeti, Kirsten Volness, Wu Man, and Kit Armstrong, including Ligeti's Viola Sonata and Musica Ricercata No. 7, Volness's Shima Enaga, a traditional arrangement of Glimpses of Muqam Chebiyat, and Armstrong's Études de dessin. The New@Night series showcases new and recently written works performed by dynamic musicians in an intimate setting. A Musical Conversation precedes the concert at 6 PM, with the performance beginning at 7 PM.
