& Juliet is a musical that reimagines Shakespeare's classic love story, asking what would have happened if Juliet hadn't ended it all over Romeo. Juliet's story unfolds through a playlist of pop anthems, including Since U Been Gone, Roar, Baby One More Time, Larger Than Life, That's The Way It Is, and Can't Stop the Feeling. All of the songs were written or produced by Max Martin, the songwriter and producer behind more #1 hits than any other artist this century. The show runs May 19-24 at the BJCC as part of the Broadway in Birmingham series.
