Bird, I am is a 20-minute performance by Marisa Conroy and Olivia Bratko, presented as part of the 2026 Risk/Reward Festival of New Performance at PICA's Annex. Working through a live phone switchboard, a performer broadcasts their call outward, blurring the boundaries between human, animal, and machine in a recursive search for connection. The piece is part of a mainstage program featuring five short works presented back-to-back each evening, running June 12–14.
