Join us for a special fundraiser and launch event for Rose City Stage Company, presented in collaboration with No Vacancy. This intimate, minimalist staged reading of Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol takes place inside a historic Old Town storefront—one of the many unused spaces NoVacancy is transforming into vibrant creative spaces. Returning to the urgency and empathy of Dickens’s original 1843 text, the ensemble delivers a simple yet evocative performance that highlights the power of shared storytelling during the holiday season. Presented in a neighborhood too often stigmatized and overlooked, this event honors Old Town’s resilience, history, and cultural memory—inviting audiences to gather in a space where art, community, and compassion meet. A portion of proceeds will benefit Central City Concern, whose essential work provides nourishment, shelter, and care to those experiencing hardship in the area. Celebrate the holidays, support local theater, uplift Old Town, and help launch Rose City Stage Company’s inaugural season with a night of warmth, purpose, and timeless storytelling.
