The OUTwright Theatre Festival kicks off today! Individual performances: $5 and up. Festival passes: $20 and up - good for all six shows. Click here to purchase tickets online.

In 2011, Fuse Theatre Ensemble produced the Gay Pride Reading Series. Due to immense popular demand, Fuse has reinvented the event as the first-ever OUTwright Theatre Festival.

With the hope of building and growing the festival over the next few years, the mission of this one-of-a-kind Pacific Northwest festival is to celebrate the contributions of the LGBTQ community to the art of theatre by staging both original and classic works, thus creating an incubator for new theatre for and by the LGBTQ community.

This year's festival will be comprised of staged readings of three premiere plays as well as three well-known, established scripts and an original dance piece.

The Line-Up:

Each performance opens with an original dance piece starring new members of the ensemble

Choreographed by Satheara Sin
Danced by Gerrin Mitchell, Ari Rapkin, and Satheara Sin
