Once on This Island is a Tony Award-winning musical inspired by a Caribbean folk tale, following Ti Moune, a young peasant girl whose love and courage move even the gods. This production is presented by Alumni Theater Company (ATC) as part of Pittsburgh Public Theater's Public Presents series, with ATC Artistic Director Monteze Freeland bringing the ensemble to the O'Reilly Theater stage. As ATC marks its 18th season, the production showcases the company's young artists in a story rich with music, dance, and humanity.
