Tender Alchemy at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art features the works of mother and daughter artists Beth Ames Swartz and Julianne Swartz, highlighting their shared focus on transformation and healing through art. This exhibition presents their first collaborative piece, a restaging of Beth's installation "A Moving Point of Balance," accompanied by a new soundtrack from Julianne, illustrating their intertwined artistic journeys. The showcase includes Beth's fire works and abstract paintings, alongside Julianne's recent sculptures that engage tactile and auditory senses, creating an intimate space for exploration of spiritual and philosophical themes across generations.
